FMI Franceschi: a success story
Founded after the Second World War in a small shop in Parma, FMI Franceschi has made great strides in the mechanical sector, becoming a company recognized worldwide.
In the 1970s, after the acquisition by Mr. Ermanno Franceschi and his wife Laura, O. Franceschi became FMI.
Since the beginning of its growth journey, FMI Franceschi has continuously invested in new technologies and improved the services offered. From a small local business, the company expanded its premises for the first time in 1989 and then again in 1997, when Luca and Daniela joined the company management.
New projects also arrived in 2007 with the introduction of the consignment stock service, and in 2010, when the company further expanded its spaces to keep pace with increasing customer demand.
Finally, in 2014, the company purchased an automated warehouse, which doubled in size only three years later.
Driven by professionalism and passion, the company has received several recognitions. First of all, ISO 9001:2015 certification for its organization, as well as the Excellent Partner qualification from Bosch Rexroth for the service provided by its linear cutting center. The most important recognition came in 2011, when FMI became the first BEST Dealer in Italy, and then in 2020, when it became the first Best Gold Dealer in the world. This confirms that the products and services supplied by FMI Franceschi fully meet Bonfiglioli quality requirements, with Bonfiglioli being the company’s partner for over 60 years.
Throughout this long growth journey, FMI Franceschi has adapted to constant market changes, seized opportunities and learned from challenges and obstacles, always keeping customer needs at the center.
